These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the QRKeep mobile application ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use QRKeep for your own lawful purposes, subject to these Terms and the app store's terms.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app to scan, generate, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes the rights of others. You are responsible for the content of any QR code you create or share. QRKeep provides safety heuristics for scanned links (e.g., warnings for insecure or suspicious URLs) as a convenience only; these are informational and are not a guarantee of safety. Always exercise caution before acting on a scanned code.

3. Subscriptions (QRKeep Pro)

• QRKeep offers an optional auto-renewing subscription ("QRKeep Pro") that removes ads and unlocks premium features.
• Plans and prices are shown in the app before purchase. A free trial, where offered, converts to a paid subscription unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
• Payment is charged to your Google Play account. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless canceled.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in the Google Play Store under Subscriptions. Canceling stops future renewals; the current paid period remains active until it expires.
• Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policy.

4. Advertising

The free version of the app is supported by advertising. By using the free version, you agree to the display of ads, subject to your advertising-consent choices.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that safety heuristics will detect every malicious code.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
